Kathleen Whalen, age 79, of Rockbridge, Ohio, passed away April 15, 2026, at her residence, surrounded by her family.

Kathy was born December 23, 1946, in Lancaster, Ohio.  She loved nothing more than being with her family and her animals. She was also an avid sports fan.

Surviving are  her children, Roxane (Michael) Wyler of Nelsonville, Clark (Carrie) Wyckoff of Logan, and Susane Hamby of Rockbridge, Mary Ann (Paul) Cramer of South Bloomingville, and Joseph (Sandra) Wyckoff of Logan; grandchildren, Seth Wyckoff, Savannah McNichols, Michelle Wright, Cody Hamby, Heather Pack, Cameron Wyckoff, Michelle Wells, Shawn Cramer, Meagan Vorhees, Colt0n Wyckoff, and Allen Schieffer; and 18 great-grandchildren, with another one on the way.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Randy Hardman officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Rockbridge, Ohio.

Calling hours will be observed 3-5 & 6-8 P.M. on Friday, April 17, 2026.
