Susan Diane Robinette, age 72, passed away on June 5, 2026, at The Springs at Wyandotte Trail, Lancaster, Ohio. She was born on October 2, 1953, in Hocking County, Ohio to the late William H. “Hobe” and Gertrude McDaniel.
Susan retired from the Hocking County Auditor’s Office. She also worked for Elberfeld’s Department Store. She was a 4-H advisor for many years. She enjoyed the simple things in life like working in her garden, card night, movie night, and playing pickle ball.
She cherished her large family outings, which included many nieces and nephews; loved monthly lunches with siblings; and getting together with some of her long-time friends. Susan attended the Union Furnace United Methodist Church.
Susan is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Diane Robinette; son, David Kyle (Felicia Conn) Robinette; grandchildren, Victor Heskett, Austin Weber, Kameron Weber, and Ariel Weber; brothers, Marvin (Patricia) McDaniel, Melvin (Reba) McDaniel, Larry (Jeaneen) McDaniel, David (Cathy) McDaniel, and Greg (Carol) McDaniel; sisters, Sharry Morehead and Kathy (Roger) Shaw; brother-in-law, Jerry (Madonna) Robinette; sister-in-law, Yvonne Sufronko; many nieces and nephews; and special cousins, who are “honorary siblings,” Bev (Bob) Riggs.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dave Robinette; and brother-in-law, Dave Sufronko.
Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, 204 W. Main St. Logan, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Randy Hardman officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Hocking County, Ohio.
Family and friends may visit from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. on Thursday, prior to services.
