William Paul King Sr, age 74, of Thornville, Ohio, passed away February 17, 2026, at University Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio.

Bill was born August 9, 1951, in Zanesville, Ohio to Harold R. King Sr. and Opal Marie Stevens King. He was a US Army Veteran; loved to dance, took dance classes when he was younger; and loved motorcycles, especially Goldwings.                        

Surviving are his wife of 18 1/2 years, Beverly King; children, Bridgett King of Zanesville, Brandi King of Springfield, and Billy King Jr. of Michigan; several grandchildren; brother, Harold “Bob” King of Madison, Wisconsin; sister, Marlene Gentile of Zanesville; stepchildren, Shayna (Freddy) Moore of Lancaster, Angela Bolin of Lancaster, Robert C. Vaughn, and David Stemm of Lancaster; and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and several aunts and uncles.

Services were held on March 14, 2026, at Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio. Calling Hours were observed from 2 pm to 4 pm, followed by Military Honor services, and a funeral service starting at 4 PM.

 In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the funeral home to help with Bill’s funeral expenses.
