Zackary James Young, age 21, of Glenford Ohio, passed away on September 1, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, warmth, and immeasurable love. He was a bright light in the lives of everyone who knew him, known for his ability to light up any room with his radiant smile and easygoing personality.

Zackary lived life out loud. He was genuinely outgoing and possessed a rare, beautiful freedom—he was never embarrassed by anything and lived to make people laugh. If someone needed a helping hand, he was the first to step forward, willing to do absolutely anything for the people he cared about.

Above all, Zackary loved his family deeply. He was an incredibly devoted father who cherished every single moment spent being a dad, pouring endless happiness into his son’s life. He was deeply in love with his fiancée, Lindsay Longworth, with whom he shared his heart and built beautiful dreams. He also shared an unbreakable bond with his siblings, loving them fiercely and unconditionally. Whether he was casting a line out on the water—enjoying his lifelong love for fishing—or simply gathering around the table with family, his presence brought pure joy to those around him.

He is survived by his beloved son, Lincoln James Young; his devoted fiancée, Lindsay Longworth; his loving parents, Joy and James Russell; his siblings, Landon Young, Kayte Russell, and Lillian Russell; and his faithful dog, Max. He also leaves behind several grandparents, aunts, uncles, a niece, a nephew, cousins and a wide circle of friends whose lives were made brighter by his happiness.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wayne and Mary Wolfe, Rebecca Buckner, and Arden Stewart.

A celebration of life to honor his beautiful spirit will be held at 6:00 PM on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 6416 Cimarron Road, Mount Perry, Ohio 43760. Friends and family are invited to gather around a bonfire to share food, refreshments, and their favorite memories and stories of the laughter Zackary brought to their lives.
