LOGAN – Neil William Handa, 82 of Logan, formerly of Westerville, Ohio, passed away August 11, 2026, at The Carlin House, Assisted Living Facility, Logan, Ohio.
He lived, traveled, and worked in many places throughout his life; but eventually, moved back to Ohio with his wife, Diana, and began his business as Sole Proprietor of National Menu & Sign Printing Company and retired after 17 years due to the onset of Covid.
Outside of his regular job, Neil enjoyed working. No matter the project and no matter if he was experience or not. He was always eager, with no fear of jumping into any task, big or small. He loved woodworking, remodeling, gardening, computer work, working on his F150 pickup truck, and the joy of playing and training his dogs.
Neil was the last surviving sibling from his immediate family of 8 (to include a half-brother). He is survived by his wife, Diana (Schenz) Handa, of 43 years; sisters-in-Law, Terri (Donnie) Cook of Murray City, Pamela (Ed) Mesaros, Glouster, Sharon Handa of Nelsonville, and Linda (Handa) Hartley of Glouster; and several nieces, nephews, and their families.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Michael, Steven, James (Ed), Curtis, Kenneth, and half-brother, William (Bill) Handa; and two sisters, Jennifer Lynn (Handa) Bailey and Mona Gayle Handa.
Calling Hours will be held on August 21, 2026, from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM at Warren-Brown Funeral Home in Nelsonville, Ohio. Funeral Service will be at 1:00 PM with Rev. Dr. Randy Hardman officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio. Military graveside services will be conducted by the Combined Color Guard.
